“Building Visibility for Economic Development”

Challenge: Expand visibility of County’s municipal bond issuing Authority to support public finance, economic development, and affordable housing.

Strategy: Developed marketing plan and implemented key strategies, including: database of clients and prospective clients, simple leave-behind brochure about Authority’s capabilities, wrote and disseminated news releases to selected media about Authority financings, developed copy and coordinated website and signage efforts, wrote and produced newsletters, created and managed special events to attract new clients.

Results: Strengthened relationships and Authority’s image among clients, prospective clients, referrers of potential business, elected and appointed officials. Increased number of applications, including several from new clients, resulting in improved revenue stream.
